Pumpkin-Spiced french Toast


Weekend brunch is sorted! This French toast is loaded with delicious pumpkin spice and is a cinch to make. Simply double or triple the recipe if you’re feeding a crowd.

Pumpkin-spiced French toast 


2 slices thick sourdough 

1 egg

1 tbsp maple syrup 

1/4 cup of milk of choice 

1 tsp vanilla extract 

1 tsp pumpkin spice 

Coconut yogurt, to serve

Maple syrup, to serve



In a bowl, whisk together the egg, maple syrup, vanilla, and spices until combined. Add the bread to the mixture and allow to soak for a couple of either side. Heat a greased frypan on medium heat and cook each piece for a few mins on each side or until lightly browned. Serve with coconut yogurt and maple syrup. Serves 1.
